IMPORTANT NOTICE, PLEASE READ

When ESO acquired SafetyPAD in 2017, the goal was to bring the SafetyPAD customers onto ESO flagship EHR product within 3-4 years as the SafetyPAD technology reached end of life status. During COVID, we elected to extend that timeline to avoid additional operational pressures on the customers. Over the past two years, the vast majority of customers have upgraded to ESO EHR, and now the time has come to make the final migrations and end support for SafetyPAD.

Effective January 31, 2023 at Midnight CT, ESO will no longer support the SafetyPAD application.

As has been previously communicated, ESO will be ending support for all versions of the SafetyPAD application (Enterprise 5 and all preceding versions), as well as any associated mobile device applications effective MIDNIGHT Central Time on Sunday, January 31, 2023.

By this date, all remaining customers should have been upgraded to the ESO EHR application or to an alternative solution of your choice.

What does this mean for you?

  1. Effective January 31, 2023, the SafetyPAD web portal and SafetyPAD Android Mobile application will no longer be available for patient record/data collection.
  2. No records will be processed and/or sent to any billing interface or state repository that were started after midnight CT on February 1, 2023.
  3. If you request your data extracts by January 15, 2023, we will maintain the ability to search for and print patient care records as a PDF document until the extract is delivered to you.
  4. Agencies upgrading to ESO EHR will be able to access and print SafetyPAD patient care records from within ESO Patient Tracker.
  5. For agencies transitioning to other vendors, on or about February 15, ESO will extract your data and produce searchable PDFs for each record and prepare to deliver these records to you for your storage and use. Please reach out to support.safetypad@eso.com prior to December 31, 2022, to arrange to receive your data extract. After June 1, 2023, patient identifiable source data will be destroyed.

We greatly appreciate the long-term relationship we have shared. We hope that you will accept this opportunity to upgrade to EHR. If you elect to go elsewhere, we completely understand.
